Microsoft unveils new devices for business users: Surface Hub 3 and Surface 4

Microsoft has introduced two new devices that are aimed at enhancing the productivity and collaboration of business users. The Surface Hub 3 is a device that combines an interactive whiteboard and a virtual meeting platform, while the Surface 4 is a small and powerful detachable tablet and laptop.

The Surface Hub 3 comes in two sizes: 50-inch and 85-inch, and it runs Microsoft Teams, the company’s communication and collaboration software. The device has a 4K PixelSense display with anti-glare coating, improved CPU and GPU performance, various stands and wall-mounting options, two microphone arrays and speaker pairings for intelligent audio, and active linking with two Surface Hub Pens. The 50-inch version also has a smart rotation and portrait mode option that adapts the screen to different scenarios, such as a whiteboard or a video call.

One of the most innovative features of the Surface Hub 3 is Cloud IntelliFrame, which enhances the video quality of remote meeting attendees. The feature removes the backgrounds of in-person users and splits them into separate video boxes, similar to Zoom. This way, remote attendees can see and interact with the in-person users more clearly and naturally.

The Surface 4 for Business is the latest edition of Microsoft’s smallest detachable two-in-one tablet and laptop.
